Dr. Koob Marking provides more than 32 years of experience on hydraulic modeling and river projects in Louisiana. As a Certified Floodplain Manager and a former senior hydraulic engineer for the New Orleans District of the US Army Corps of Engineers, she has also provided planning and design of projects involving river engineering, ecosystem restoration, hydrology, and hydraulics. She has managed multi-million dollar task orders for federal clients under difficult logistical environments. She has been a Visiting Assistant Professor at Tulane University and at the University of New Orleans, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in hydraulic engineering, sediment transport and river engineering, hydrology, and stream restoration. She has received multiple awards from her colleagues and peers.
