I am a Senior Engineer, PE, PTOE, RSP1, EV SP, F. ASCE, and currently self-employed. I am the 2023-2025 ASCE Phoenix Branch Sustainability Committee Chair, the ASCE AZ Branch Vice President, and the ITE Mountain District DEI Committee Chair. Worked for 19 years as Program Manager/Project Coordinator for the City of Mesa - Transportation Department. I worked at the Arizona Department of Arizona (ADOT) before this for 5 years. I was born in Bogota, Colombia, South America, and I have been a US citizen since 2005. I am a P.E. both in Colombia and Arizona. I studied at AZ State University, where I got several masters: a Master of Science in construction management, a Master of Environmental Planning, and a Master’s in Public Administration. In 2020, I became a certified public manager, and in 2022, I obtained my PTOE, and I am active in ASCE, SWE, ITE, and ACEC.
My interests are related to equity, transportation planning/policy, program management, and sustainability.
