Good Morning Gary, In New Jersey we use this "superpave" designation for our asphalt: Surface course is 9.5M64 (9.5 mm is the aggregate size). Intermediate 12.5M64 Base Course 19.5M64 - So 19.5 mm is the aggregate size. I have never seen a base course with a 1 inch aggregate, usually we use ...
