Do you think that the cracking indicates that 40' is too long or that the 8:5 ratio (40:25) for the span is too far out of 'square'? I agree that 40' is a long free-span for SOG, even with adequate thickness, initial curing, subgrade and climate conditions, etc. However, I bet that a 16x10 panel might ...
