My name is Madaline Dabrow. I am currently serving as a LT in the US Navy but have been stationed at Naval Reactors for my whole time in service (4 years). Naval Reactors is the organization that designs, licenses, and does the cradle to grave life cycle management of the US Navy's nuclear powered fleet (submarines and aircraft carriers). I specifically work as the lead for civil/structural/facility design requirements for two projects that are recapitalizing aging infrastructure of nuclear support facilities.
Not many individuals in my organization work on land-based nuclear facilities and even less have a similar background in Civil Engineering (my undergraduate degree) and Nuclear engineering (my graduate degree). I'm really seeking a technical mentor that can help me develop a plan to increase my knowledge in the world of nuclear facility design and management.
In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, hiking, and playing with my cat Oliver.
