I am a geotechnical consultant and professional geotechnical engineer currently performing the duties of senior geotechnical engineer in a design and consultancy organization in Pakistan. I have completed my Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and Masters in Geotechnical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. I am also pursuing my PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from NUST, Islamabad, Pakistan. My research is based on bored pile foundation design optimization incorporating ultimate pile capacity and pile settlement. I have completed my PhD coursework and proposal defence and currently pursuing my research work. I have four years professional experience in geotechnical site investigation alongside preparation of reports, the geotechnical design of deep & shallow foundations, slope stability analysis, liquefaction analysis, etc. I also have more than 10 years of professional experience in building construction and maintenance in various cities of Pakistan. I also served as Staff Officer Engineers in the United Nations for one year in the Democratic Republic of Congo and performed/supervised construction activities in support of the UN. I am also a certified professional engineer (P.E.) recognized by the Pakistan Engineering Council.
