ASCE will bring together a panel of civil engineering leaders to share insights and answer questions on a variety of topics. Every Third Thursday at 3 p.m. EDT, ASCE will host a virtual roundtable on a new topic.

On Thursday, September 18th, we'll have a virtual meetup on the topic of The Power of the Pivot. Bring your questions. Get to know each other. Share your expertise.

Panel:

· Robert Best, P.E. is a Principal Civil Engineer and Office Leader in Orlando for CMA with over 20 years of experience in project management, design, and construction across utilities, transportation, stormwater, and land development in Massachusetts and Florida. He is the ASCE Florida Section Past President (2025–2026) and currently serves as the East Central Branch UESI Interim Chair. Having worked at several firms throughout his career, Rob brings adaptability and leadership to every stage of his work.

· Tonya Mellen graduated from Georgia Tech and has been a professional engineer and project manager in transportation design for over 30 years. She has owned her own consulting business for 14 years.

· Drew Thomas, P.E. is a traffic ops engineer in the Tallahassee, FL Lochner office. She has worked in multiple civil disciplines and outside of the industry since graduating from FSU in 2016 before receiving her PE licensure in 2022 and PTOE this year.
