I've never been into Halloween. It just isn't my thing. BUT I absolutely love to dress my dogs up and take them out! What costumes are you and your family (pets included) dressing in this year?

Here's a photo of my black lab, Fenrir, in his bee costume.

My costume is still up in the air this year. But I can fondly recall my senior year of college (after most of my classmates and I had completed internships). I walked into a Halloween party hosted by a classmate, and pretty much everyone had dug out their field gear to dress as a "construction worker". There was a lot of day-glow/neon yellow at that party.

It's been years since anyone in my family celebrated Halloween, so it's also been years since any of us dressed up.

I do remember dressing as a cap salesman character, though, one of the last times.

Interesting. How many caps did you wear?

I don't remember how many, but we still have all kinds of caps kept away.

One year as a last-minute costume for my dog to wear to the office, we made him Batty the beanie baby since his ears seemed appropriate to be a bat

I wasn't planning on dressing up this year, but then our accounting and HR departments asked us to wear costumes.

I have a skirt that is the Starry Night painting by Van Gogh, and I used the dog's blue vest to make him a glob of paint for the painting. I'm all about $0 and very little time investment haha
