ABSTRACT
In today's technological society, engineering and science professionals are using cross-media platforms to understand, educate, and facilitate discussions with the world. Bloggers and social media influencers in engineering and science communication will be invited to speak on this panel which will encourage audience participation. The panel discussion's goal is to increase awareness on how participants can use social media and the internet to reach students, clients, and their communities. Each panelist will discuss platforms, branding, internal/external feedbacks, and effectiveness. Panelists will interact with the audience offering insights by verbal and virtual forms of communication showing not just WHY this is a great way to brand your passions & activities but HOW to do it.
