I am a Professor and School Director in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Connecticut. My research focuses on cementitious materials, ultra-high-performance concrete, concrete durability, and resilient infrastructure. I am committed to supporting students and faculty, strengthening connections between research and practice, and contributing to a collaborative civil engineering profession. My broader interests include mentoring, leadership, engineering education, and innovation that helps prepare the next generation of engineers and strengthens the impact of our field.
