Senior Associate at MRCE with extensive experience in subsurface engineering and complex belowground construction. Since 1994, I’ve worked across the full spectrum of geotechnical services—from investigations and support‑of‑excavation to major ground improvement, foundation and geotechnical design efforts for buildings, transit systems, tunnels, waterfronts, environmental remediations and large infrastructure projects.
I founded and led MRCE’s instrumentation and monitoring group in the early 2000s, overseeing hundreds of automated monitoring programs and advancing data‑driven interpretation of ground and structural behavior. I’ve authored or presented 25+ technical papers, contributed to high‑profile projects including the World Trade Center Recovery, South Ferry Reconstruction and Belmont Arena, served as a technical panelist, provided expert analysis for litigation and forensic investigations and am an adjunct lecturer in Soil Mechanics at NYC College of Technology.
Outside of engineering, I’m a husband, father, and triathlon coach—nine‑time Ironman and 25‑time Half Ironman finisher, with multiple World Championship appearances (Kona x 2 & 70.3 WC x 5), and I organize a yearly industry local cycling event for architects, engineers and Contractors.
