Kevin LaMalva joined Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. (SGH) in 2007 and is professionally registered as a Fire Protection Engineer and Civil Engineer. His primary interests are structural fire engineering, structural failure analysis, fire hazard analyses, and structural mechanics. His work experience primarily involves the use finite element modeling, as well as principles from both fire safety and structural engineering.
