I am a land development/site civil engineer with about 5 years of experience in site design, stormwater management, sediment control, water and sewer design, and ROW improvements. I am currently involved in Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA) and serve as the Vice Chair of the WSSC/MBIA Liaison Committee to facilitate development process updates and discussion between the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) and the MBIA community (developers, engineers, and contractors). I love working with various stakeholders including developers, architects and other design consultants, planners, engineers, agencies, and contractors to bring a project from concept through final engineering and construction.
I'm seeking professional mentorship particularly in the areas of choosing a specialization, and juggling work/life balance with career advancement and involvement in professional organizations. I also recently renewed my membership for the first time since college, and want to learn about the best ways to be involved with ASCE!
