Ms. Allison Pyrch, P.E., M.ASCE

Bio

Allison has over 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience in Oregon and Washington.  She has been active with the ASCE Technical Committee on Lifeline Earthquake Engineering since 2010 and has travelled to both Chile (2010) and Japan (2011) to study the effects of the subduction zone earthquakes and tsunamis on lifelines.  Since her trip to Chile she has been a strong advocate for preparing for the Cascadia subduction zone earthquake and tsunami in Oregon and Washington.  She has actively been engaged with the public, local and state agencies, and the Oregon Resiliency Committee to promote earthquake and tsunami awareness and resilience in Oregon as well as in Washington.  She has provided geotechnical engineering and seismic design design for infrastructure projects involving bridges, dock and port structures, large embankments, slopes and landslides.
