Bio

is a senior-level transportation executive with over 25 years of industry experience, 9 years as a leader of privately held companies. She was chosen as one of the St. Louis Business Journal’s Most Influential Business Women of 2010 for her commitment to the St. Louis Region, and her strong presence in the engineering community. has a passion for inspiring others to dream big. She encourages entrepreneurs to recognize the importance of collaboration. Her favorite quote by President John F. Kennedy – “A rising tide will lift all boats,” reflects that belief.

is an experienced speaker and has addressed a wide variety of audiences on leadership, entrepreneurial pursuits and civil engineering as a career. has a strong entrepreneurial mindset, building two successful businesses from the ground up. Her fearless approach to business is deeply rooted in her belief that hard work and authenticity will always succeed, and having fun is paramount.

Marsia has a strong sense of community and adventurous spirit and is always up for a challenge both professionally and personally. Marsia recently competed with a team in the Tough Mudder competition, one of her craziest accomplishments.

She is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of; Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, Wyoming and has a National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying record.

She serves on the South Dakota State University Civil Engineering Department & St. Louis University - Park College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology Industry Advisory Boards.

She currently serves as a volunteer The Women’s Safe House, The Blessing Basket Project, and The Fusion Foundation. She is an avid runner, hiker, blogger and is always eager to curl up with a good book.
