I am a recent graduate of a Civil/ Geotechnical Degree and is someone who passionately wants to become a well-rounded Civil/ Geotechnical Engineer in a Consultancy company.
During the time of my job application, I have noticed that most jobs require a minimum of 2 years work experience that I had to change my job hunting methods.
However, I have recently received an offer from a Geotechnical Instrumentation Company.
I hope to clear my doubts by asking a question from this career pathway, "Can I pursue a career pathway into Geotechnical Design Engineer position in a Consultancy company; after the experience earned from the Geotechnical Instrumentation company?
I would appreciate any answers given. Your answers would provide me a clearer picture of my career aspirations.
Thank you,
Karsten
