I am a structural engineer responsible for the design and management of structural engineering projects for a broad spectrum of government, commercial, educational, industrial, health care, and housing projects.
I have designed new buildings, physical security upgrades and renovations for existing Embassy or Consulate compounds at various international locations as part of the U.S. Department of State’s Overseas Building Operation program. Design responsibilities for these projects include lateral and gravity design as well as coordination/detailing of blast resistant and anti-terrorism requirements and construction administration.
I have experience with new structure designs as well as design and evaluations related to existing buildings for a broad range of project types and scopes. Design responsibilities include multi-disciplinary coordination, lateral wind and seismic analysis, gravity design, design coordination and detailing. I have experience with several computer programs including RISA, ETABS, SAFE, Revit, AutoCAD and Structure Point (formerly PCA) programs.
