In a high seismic area, using the Reduced Design Option and High Deformability Elements (HDE) for precast diaphragm connectors, ASCE 7-16, 14.2.4.3.3 says that the connectors have to "tension deformation capacity" per 14.2.4.6.7 of greater than 0.6-inches.
