Dr. Dhanada K. Mishra is the Managing Director at RaSpect AI, specializing in AI-powered inspection of built infrastructure using UAVs and other robotic methods. With a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan and over 25 years of experience in industry and academia, he possesses deep expertise in concrete structures, non-destructive testing, and structural health monitoring. Before joining RaSpect AI, he was a Visiting Research Scholar at HKUST. He has developed strategic product ideas and partnerships to drive RaSpect AI's vision of sustainability.
Dr. Mishra has authored over 50 publications in leading journals and conferences, served as a guest editor for the Indian Concrete Journal, and regularly reviews for several peer-reviewed publications. He is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Concrete Institute (HKCI), a member of the Institution of Engineers (India), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). His earlier academic experience includes teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in concrete technology, engineering mechanics, and finite element analysis.
