I should add one more thing related to the discussion. When using fabric as a formwork you can achieve a very efficient shape and you don't want to thicken it up to cover corrosive reinforcement therefor, the obvious choice is some form of textile reinforcement, fiberglass, carbon fiber grid, etc. The ...
