Some time ago I had the privilege to participate at an ASCE Forensic Engineering Congress.
Based on what I heard experts in Forensic Engineering share, it occurred to me that
given every outcome (effect), e.g., bridge collapses, has an
"Upstream Driver" (cause).
It would be great to have a dialogue that answered that question about the
"Accident."
I have attached a paper I did right after that FE Conference to encourage such thinking.
Q. What have we learned that educates civil engineers to prevent repetition of the
"Root Cause"of such
"Engineered Accidents?"

A simple review of these discussions list many issues for potential forensic discussions, as either Forensic Engineering and/or Forensic Management dialogue. Matters with frequent occurrence such as pavements, reinforced concrete, wall tilts, utilities, and more might be of interest if subjected to such forensic group analysis.
This post is intended to stimulate interest, and to learn if someone would like to initiate such a line of Forensic-Centric insights.
