I'm a water resources environmental engineer by training and a transportation civil engineer by trade. I believe in continuous learning, building up fellow engineers, and doing my part for my community. No one gets to where they are in a vacuum. It takes a community to create a better world. Part of that is reaching out to others for guidance and support, and the other part is giving back.
I'm a member of ASCE, Engineers Without Borders (EWB), and Boy Scouts of America (BSA). I take on leadership roles in ASCE as the hospitality and STEM chair for the Young Members Group (YMG) and in BSA as an adult leader in my local venture crew and deputy section chief for the shows portion of a regional venturing and exploring event called Winterfest. I also enjoy hiking, cycling, yoga, reading, and cooking in my free time.
