I am a Structural Engineer, President and founder (1992) of K2N Crest, an 18-person structural, architectural, and building envelope consulting company headquartered in Oak Brook, with a branch office in Kahului, Maui.
I grew up in Hawaii (Hilo and Honolulu) and moved to "Chicagoland" Illinois on graduation from the University of Hawaii (1982).
Having 40+ years professional experience I enjoy guiding and teaching less experienced engineers.
I enjoy spending time with family, cooking, and doing what I can to promote societal acceptance and equality for all people.
Being a transgender woman I am deeply concerned with the lack of understanding and acceptance of the queer community in our society.
