Bio

Dr. Vijay V. Nair graduated from Sir. M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology (2012) with a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering. After briefly undergoing training from one of the pioneer Environmental Engineering labs in India, CSIR-NEERI, he earned M.Tech. degree in Environmental Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (2015). He earned his Ph.D. degree (2020) in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras. His doctoral research aimed at the removal of heavy metals from municipal solid waste dumpsite leachate using a combined process of adsorption and reactive precipitation. Dr. Nair is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Civil Engineering Department of Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan, India.
