Simply add your achievements as you transition into Civil Engineering.  Typically, an HR Reviewer is most interested with activities going back five years unless there is some significant accomplishment that supports your portfolio.  For Example -- Veteran Status.

QUESTION -- What do you think of the VA Outreach Program?  This could be a stepping stone IE Internships and Long-Term Employment.  Additionally, stay connected with the ASCE Network such as local chapters.
