Hi Carl,
I would say having a graduate degree is not a requirement for most entry-level jobs and many companies will offer financial support to pursue advanced degrees. If you feel your undergraduate experience has provided enough of a basis in area of Civil Engineering and you wish to start your career then go for it. If however you are wanting to pursue something that maybe your undergraduate degree did not cover for instance coastal engineering, then a graduate degree might be required for those type of positions. In my experience most of my training and modeling has been developed on a project by project basis while working and an advanced degree was not required.
