How can we develop our career in civil engineering field? There are lot of things...it's difficult to learn all things but I should become specialist in any one branch of civil engineering for that what can I do hereafter? And how can I improve myself? Tell me some ideas and guide me...

First, consider the area where you work in terms of the type of civil engineering activity.

    For example :
Are there any civil engineering activities in your area in the field of design?
Are there any civil engineering activities in your area in the field of construction (contracting)?
Are there civil engineering activities in your area of project management?
Are there any civil engineering activities in the area of seismic rehabilitation of structure?

Over time people will work on a broad spectrum of project types with a few different firms. Eventually engineers will come across a certain aspect of engineering that they happen to be really good at(hopefully that they enjoy doing!). Keep your mind open and engage in different project types. Over time you will most likely stumble on your specialty. Don't force it.....don't get good at things you don't like doing.
