Career By Design

Here on campus at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I plan to be part of an event for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. With the semester approaching a close and Spring on the rise, the group and a department at the university both thought this was a good time to spread awareness of how we are all affected by this issue.

Does anyone else know of events or activities down the line for Sexual Assault Awareness Month?

This is very sensitive and serious topic but really necessary and helpful. I appreciate your push with it. Some activities and events are including inviting your campus psychologist to help have necessary seminars regarding the topic. Make a registration of students to engage them in the guidance office or consulting psychologist and have confidential appointment. Engage students by re-grouping them in their gender, or comfortable circle and encourage to share how to prevent these by letting them do slogan or posters. And using social media platforms, share an influencing insight about the topic and make it visible to the campus. Making it like a retreat and fun. Hope this help, amd good luck.
