As a Civil Engineering undergraduate student nearing completion (May 2025), I have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.1/4. I'm interested in pursuing a fully funded Master's program. Could you recommend scholarship opportunities suitable for my academic profile?

    Hello Ahmad,

My name is Kalyani Vemulapalli, I have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and came to the United States to pursue my master's degree in construction management. Although I did not receive a fully funded scholarship, I only paid for 2 out of the 4 semesters that I studied at my university.

    1. I would recommend you go through the university websites and find what scholarships each university has to offer. It varies widely within the university, program etc.
    2. Contributing to research group - If you are interested in research, you can look for professors who are recruiting master's students to help with their on-going research. Most of the universities offer a minimum of 50% to 100% fee waivers for Graduate Assistants. You could get in contact with professors before applying to the university and let them know your interests and work from there.

I hope this helps. Good luck!
