What is your approach to your desk space?

I recently moved to a new desk at our office, which has me thinking about how different people view their working space.

My philosophy is that I spend more waking hours at my desk than I do in my home most weekdays, and I want it to feel like my home away from home.

It is full of plants, souvenirs from trips, gifts from friends and family, and my own creations.

Below are some before and after photos of my desk setup, and I'm interested to see what others have done with their space.

Ok, Heidi. I'm officially jealous. That's a gorgeous space to work in.

Here's one of my two workspaces. I'd like to have plants but spending 2-3 months away from each one doesn't allow them to live.
