Hi everyone, 

I believe some people on this platform have had opportunities to give back to their alma mater and society in general by being guest speakers, facilitating site visits, judging, mentoring or sponsoring student projects or in any other activities that allow you to interact with students to enhance their learning. If you have been involved in such activities or know well about those involved, I want you to share different ways in which instructors contact practitioners to provide these kinds of support in their courses. 

Besides, there is a new web platform that is designed solely for connecting professionals and instructors to enhance student learning. Please check out the web platform at https://conpec.mlsoc.vt.edu/.  You can sign up on the web platform so that instructors can connect with you to provide course-supports (like facilitating a guest lecture session, seminar or workshop) virtually or in-person.
