Hi Rolf -- was interested to see this comparison. Do you have any updates on what's happening with Kariba?
I worked on a study of disaster risk management/preparedness in Zimbabwe and Zambia a few years ago, and as part of this spoke with several officials/employees from the Zambezi River Authority which maintains Kariba Dam. There was some hesitation to speak with us about the dam, but at that stage no one was talking about any possible problems. A few years later... I can understand the reluctance.
