After much study and anticipation, a new process used by FEMA to analyze and map areas behind non-accredited levee systems was introduced last summer. Has anyone utilized the new approach for a FIRM update and what are your thoughts about the designated Zone D - an area of undetermined, but possible, flood hazard?
