Does ASCE7-22 Chapter 15 apply to modular concrete gravity walls?
It mentions cantilever walls and shows a mortared brick wall in the C15 section. It looks more like it is addresses fences and simple barriers.
Each block in our wall is 2.5'x2.5'x5' and are 4,000lbs each with no mortar just interlocking keys.
Chapter 15 refers to Chapter 12, which uses this equation V = C s W (12.8-1) The R value from table 15.4-2 of Ground-supported cantilever walls or fences is only 1.25. Which is a generic value per below. What is a more appropriate value? I am thinking in the 3 to 4 range.
