"Men tend to get more helpful feedback during performance reviews than women do, experts say," according to authors Nunes and Stevenson. Their complete article is attached.

Shelley Correll, a Stanford University society professor who has studied performance evaluations, notes that men get a clearer picture of what they are doing well, and more-specific guidance of where to improve to get to the next level.

So, please read the article, then share your experiences when you have been part of your organization's "Performance Evaluation Review Dialogue."

Tell us what went well, what might have been executed better, and how that/those performance dialogues have supported the development of your career.

    Cheers,

    Bill
