Challenge of providing a method for retrofitting (Seismic Rehabilitation) a vulnerable members

Engineers are faced with a variety of retrofitting (seismic rehabilitation) techniques in construction projects with damaged members:

    1 - Beam
    2 - Column
    3 - Connection
    4 - Panel zone
    5 - Foundation
    6 - Diaphragm
    7 - Infill wall
    8 - Shear wall
    9 - Structure drift controlling
    .......

I ask colleagues to share their experiences with others in the format below.

    Share photos provided with retrofit.

Comment on their work style. I ask other colleagues to discuss the details.

    For example
    I experienced this today.
    Challenge: Structure Drift
    Controlling
I was in a project today, the drift in the third story was more than the FEMA 356 limited.
In this regard, concrete shear walls were added to the existing structure as an infill wall.
    Seismic rehabilitation for controlling Drift
I think it's a good method for steel structure building
    What is your opinion ?

Structure drift control mechanism; lateral or sideways movement is a common occurrence in sender structure or when the robustness is inadequate, and must be prevented, such as to ensure a stable structure (i.e. static equilibrium).

Drift control mechanism; is to ensure that the lateral deflection/sway angle is minimized to certain degree of tolerance, that is permissible to ensure that the stable equilibrium of the structure by preventing rotation and sustaining the shearing forces available at structural joints. The idea is that if the structural joints can be made static by restraint, then the possibility of lateral movement will be reduced and eliminated.
