I want to know about a bearing plate, which will be used in a high rise building, if building height is 250 m from NGL, GF to first floor height is 3.2 m. Detail about reinforcement in slab and bearing plate used in column to column fixing detail. Can we use a cable in the beam like a deck slab in a high rise building?

Please clarify a couple of things about your question:

    1. What type of slab system are you are using?
    2. Are there beams also supporting the slab at the column (for example as in a structural steel composite system) or only slab?
    3. What shape and material of column are you using?
    4. Please clarify the types of loads to be transferred through the connection (shear only, moment, are diaphragm forces transferred).
    5. If you are able, please upload a rough sketch showing the condition you want to connect. This will help the ASCE Collaborate community provide a useful answer. Often connections are partially based on <g class="gr_ gr_9596 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins doubleReplace replaceWithoutSep" id="9596" data-gr-id="9596">geometry</g> of the various attaching components, so what may work for some conditions doesn't always work for other conditions.

    1. If I'm using a two-way slab.
    2. Yes, beam supported.
    3. T-Section beam types, longitudinal column and transvers beam supported from column. Column size - (500*600MM), beam size - (300*525MM) bending moment, shear forces, M-25 grade concrete.
