Please join us on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 12:00 ET for an exciting presentation topic: Using engineering and institutional strengthening expertise to expand access to sustainable drinking water and sanitation services around the world. We will be hearing from Mr. Zachary Borrenpohl, PE, a Senior Associate at Tetra Tech with 16 years of experience in international development, engineering design and planning, municipal water and sanitation systems, and utility strengthening and capacity building. He has managed water and sanitation programs in Jordan, Lebanon, Cote d’Ivoire, Benin, and Indonesia. He currently manages two projects funded by the United States Agency for Internation Development (USAID) in their water security, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) project portfolio. Mr. Borrenpohl has several years of experience living and working overseas, including one year in a senior director position on a project in Jordan. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, and an International Master of Business Administration from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He is professionally proficient in French and is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer – serving in Guinea from 2005-2007.
