Living Shorelines -- A new tool for the toolbox OR A new toolbox?

Lesley Ewing and Jeremy Smith from California Coastal Commission will join us Nov. 3 to discuss some of the newer options for shore protection, like living shorelines, and how as a regulatory agency the Commission is able to encourage such projects. The presentation will also provide some examples of living shorelines that have been permitted recently by the Commission and then solicit suggestions for the types of project monitoring information that could help determine efficacy and improve future designs.
