Paul Nicolet, Plant Manager for Contech Engineered Solutions welcomes ASCE members and guests to tour the precast facility in Salt Lake City. Formerly operating as Forterra, this plant specializes in precast and prestressed concrete structures including girders, voided slabs, and parking garages. High profile projects include the Delta Center, multiple LDS temples, and highway bridges throughout the state. Attendees of the tour will see how precast structural components are made and how they contribute to the continually growing infrastructure of our state.
