    ASCE Student Conference Hosts:

Welcome to the new discussion board for ASCE Student Conference hosts.  Given that most of us have little, if any, experience with hosting a virtual conference or a COVID-19 impacted face-to-face conference, this discussion board will provide all of us with the opportunity to ask questions, answer questions, and share ideas about how to create an engaging student conference.  Even if your idea is not completely flushed out, post it and let others help with the refinement or implementation.  Take advantage of the collaborative environment to be creative and turn something ordinary into extraordinary.

We all know how to organize a tug of war competition, but what about an online Quiz Bowl?  What technology is needed?  Can we jointly create a question bank?

Do you want to hear from ASCE Leaders or other movers and shakers impacting the ciil engineering profession?  Should jointly ask for "Ted-Talks" that can be recorded once and shared by all Student Conferences?

Thanks for taking a leadership role in hosting your student conference!  I look forward to working with all of you and having engaging ASCE Student Conferences in 2021.
