    OVERVIEW

    The School of Engineering at the University of St. Thomas has an opening for a faculty position in Civil Engineering.  The position is open rank tenure track including the possibility of Clinical (non-tenure track) appointment.

    Candidates with excellence in all areas of Civil Engineering are welcome while special consideration will be given to candidates in the fields of hydrology, water resources, or environmental engineering.  Professional Engineer (PE) licensure and significant industry experience are also preferred.  Successful candidates will be expected to develop and provide undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise, establish and maintain active research programs, and provide service to the department, university, and profession.   


    QUALIFICATIONS

    A PhD in a relevant Engineering discipline is required for tenure track positions.  To be considered for Clinical faculty, candidates must have a masters' degree in engineering with significant industry experience.  Candidates with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure are preferred.  All applicants must have demonstrable skills necessary for excellence in teaching.
