Survey on teaching techniques

  • 1.  Survey on teaching techniques

    Posted 06-08-2021 12:28 PM

We sent this survey request out earlier this spring, and appreciate the response we got, but we would like to get as broad and diverse a response as possible.  If you have not yet had a chance to fill out the survey, we hope you will.  Even more importantly, we hope that you will share this survey link with collaborators, faculty in your department, other faculty at your school and beyond, and in any discipline (not just engineering).   We hope that this summer might provide people with the 10 minutes or so to complete the survey.

Our goal is to gather information on the perceived importance and frequency of use of different teaching techniques.  All responses will be confidential.  This project received IRB approval under York College of Pennsylvania (IRB NUMBER: 20FA024).

As you complete the survey, we ask that you consider a specific course that you have taught and answer the questions based on this single course.  Once you have completed the survey, you will have an opportunity to provide information for a second course, if you choose to do so.

Thank you for your time and assistance in completing this voluntary survey and sharing this.  We will appreciate your response by July 25, 2021.

If you have any questions, please contact Scott Hamilton (shamilton@...), Tanya Kunberger (tkunberg@...), Dave Saftner (dsaftner@...), and Camilla Saviz (csaviz@...).
