On July 31, 2023, we will be updating our Terms of Service for Link, Stripe's accelerated checkout product. Millions of companies around the world use Stripe to process payments. Stripe created Link to provide a faster and easier way to pay and manage your saved payment methods.

Here's a summary of the key changes:

We've clarified Stripe's role in providing the services to you.

We've updated our Acceptable Use policy to clarify the types of activities that are prohibited when you use Stripe's services.

We've clarified how Link works, including what information we save and share, your rights and obligations when you use Link, how to update or close your Link account, how to update your payment method information, how backup payment methods work, and information about inactive accounts and security.

We've provided more information about what to do if you see an unauthorized transaction or error in your Link transaction history.

We've included a mandatory arbitration provision. By continuing to use Link, you agree to our arbitration agreement, which requires you to arbitrate disputes on an individual basis with Stripe, contains class action and jury trial waivers, and limits the manner in which you can seek relief.
