  • 1.  SketchUp License Authorization

Hi, I was wondering when the license authorization for SketchUp would be available.  It says in the rules that it will be made available in Mid September via the ASCE Sustainable Solutions Competition Collaboration site, but I have not seen anything regarding this yet.  Thanks!

    Update to ALL TEAMS:

Here is the Sketchup License info for 2026:

    User name: Scott Struck
    Company/organization: ASCE 2026
    Serial number: BH-00339293-ALR
    Authorization Code: aeee5b1e985e86

After enabling the license in Sketchup, you can then create your own personal Trimble IDs (free) which will allow you to log in and use the web-based features in the program.

    Enjoy! (sustainably)

We have gotten multiple requests for support due to errors when entering the credentials. This was Sketchup's response:

Is it possible that the same student is attempting to activate the license on more than two devices? We do limit activations per seat to prevent piracy or unintentional usage, so if one student is attempting to activate a seat and sign in to their account on 3+ devices that may be what's causing the issue. It should be correctable so long as each student signs into their account individually.

If a student has unintentionally activated their seat across too many devices and needs to remove one of those activations, they can do so following this instructions provided here: https://help.sketchup.com/en/admin/deauthorizing-devices

If you have any other Sketchup licensing problems, feel free to use this forum.
