I want to introduce myself and let the section know about my background and availability as a possible resource. In early November of this year, I moved from Steamboat Springs, Colorado to Wilsonville, Oregon. In Colorado and in other sections, I participated in local ASCE activities, e.g, organizing events and making presentations to chapters regarding sustainable development.
I am a member of ASCE's Committee on Sustainability and author/presenter of the ASCE on-line course, "Engineering a Sustainable Future". I also teach an on-line graduate course for the University of Florida, "ENV6617: Principles of Green Engineering Design". I''m also the inventor and lead designer of the Envision sustainable infrastructure rating system.
