    Hello Everyone, 

    My name is Hasan, and I recently moved to Norfolk with my wife, who is doing her residency at EVMS. I am a senior structural engineer with Thornton Tomasetti and currently working remotely. I was looking for a local group to connect with and came across Norfolk Branch. I'd like to know if that Norfolk branch organizes any social events. I'd love to connect and meet with the engineering community.

    Send an email to David Pryor dpryor@...  for info on local SEI activities.  The Norfolk Branch has regular events too.  Next up is our annual technical seminar on 9/22/22. This year the focus is resiliency: https://files.constantcontact.com/be57c8d1301/91654466-e51a-48a0-a863-ebb9dee7202c.pdf.
    I suspect you  could change your branch affiliation at ASCE.org and eventually you'd get on the Norfolk Branch/ Norfolk SEI email lists. They use Constant Contact instead of a website.  Just a caution there because some spam filters block constant contact.
