As not many opportunities in environmental engineering in India, you can think of doing masters in Water resources and environmental engineering (like the M Tech program in IITH etc) instead of environmental engineering alone.

I am pursuing BTech Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.I am planning to do Master of Science in Fall 2019.
