    Resilient Virginia, an organization dedicated to bringing national, state and local resources together to accelerate community resiliency in the state, is pleased to announce the 2017 Resilient Virginia Conference, taking place August 1–2 at the Richmond Convention Center. This year, the Virginia Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security and the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) will take a leading role in supporting the conference.

    • Explore resiliency opportunities for local governments and institutions;
    • Highlight innovative businesses and technologies;
    • Develop an understanding of the priorities for different regions of the state; and
    • Provide training and tools that can be used for resiliency planning.
