  • 1.  JEDI Policy Statement

Proposed by MOSAIC and soon after adopted by the ASCE Board of Direction in July 2021, the ASCE Policy Statement 417 coming to be known as the JEDI Policy Statement stands as testament to the profession's JEDI aspirations and the critical importance of ethical obligations to the diverse communities served by the profession.

To leaders within and across the civil engineering landscape, the tip of the month is more of a homework assignment than a tip. All leaders are encouraged to read and reflect on the full JEDI policy statement and ask yourself the following questions:

    ·       In what ways, if any, is PS 417 reflected in my professional work life?

    ·       In what ways, if any, is PS 417 reflected in my personal life?

I'm getting a "404 Not found" error from the embedded link.

    Found the policy at https://www.asce.org/advocacy/policy-statements/ps417---justice-equity-diversity-and-inclusion.
